Question
Please enlighten me with the following:
Whoever, on the first of Muharram, writes down the entire بِسْم الله الرحمن الرحيم on a piece of paper 113 times and keeps it with him, will be saved from all types of calamities and misfortunes and will be given abundance in Rizq (Tried and tested.)
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Bismillahi-rahmani-raheem has numerous virtues and benefits.
The prescription of writing Bismillah 113 times is a tried and tested practice.
It is permissible to practice the prescription in reference with the belief that the effect in anything is with the will and order of Allah Ta’ala. [1]
