Seeking forgiveness for a sin

Question

During my teenage years, while traveling I have once touched deliberately a woman’s(non-muslim) feet with my feet with bad intentions without her permission and I got schooled/scolded to behave myself by her husband in a decent tone in front of everyone.This was the sin which I had committed in the past and I want to repent for this sin.

Since this sin comes under huqooqul ibaad I think, how do I seek for forgiveness for this sin.I cannot go and ask for forgiveness from that woman as I do not remember her face and I don’t know where she lives and it has been more than 8-10 years since this incident.

Can you please let me know does this come under huqooqul ibaad and how can I repent from this sin given above conditions.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Make sincere tawbah to Allah for your actions by showing remorse over your action and a firm intention to never repeat such an act in the future. Make dua of hidaaya for the non-Muslim woman and her husband.

Insha-Allah you will be forgiven.
