Question
Is it permissible to pelt the jamarat before zawal
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Pelting is wajib on 3 days of Hajj i.e. the 10th, 11th and 12th of Zul Hijjah.
If one leaves Mina before sunset of the 12th, then the pelting of the 13th is not wajib. If one is still in Mina after sunset of the 12th but leaves before subh saadiq, then it is makrooh to leave without pelting on the 13th. If one is in Mina at subh saadiq of the 13th, then pelting is wajib.
