How to have sexual intercourse in islam

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is necessary to perform Nikah in order to have lawful intercourse with ones spouse. Intercourse before marriage is Haram.

Once married, vaginal intercourse is permitted. Intercourse during menstruation and anal intercourse are both Haram.
