Wearing transparent clothes during salah

Question
Salaams Maulana
Hope you well
I have this lungi that i wear, i read a fatwa on one of the groups that say if your skin is exposed then your salah isn’t valid with those clothes
If you wear the lungi and shorts underneath, you can’t make out the skin but you can see there’s nothing there
I think it should be okay ? Or is it not ?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Provided the skin is not visible, it will be permissible to wear. Note that if one wears a lungi where the skin is visible, but then also wears a jabba on top which covers his body, the salah will be valid.[1]
