Question
Salaams Maulana
Hope you well
When i was in tashahud and also After performing salah i’m having doubt if i prayed 1 sajdah or 2
Do i repeat the salah
I am not 100% certain that i missed out the sajdah entirely
I think maybe i could have prayed it but obviously there’s a doubt now
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, if one forgets to perform a sajdah, he is required to make up for it within his salah and thereafter perform sajdah sahw as well.[1]
If the doubt is strong, or you don’t really know whether it was performed or not, then you should repeat the salah.[2] But if your dominant inclination is that the sajdahs were performed, there is no need to repeat the salah.

بدائع الصنائع في ترتيب الشرائع (1/ 167) [1]
فإن كان المتروك فرضا تفسد الصلاة، وإن كان واجبا لا تفسد، ولكن تنتقص وتدخل في حد الكراهة، وبيان هذه الجملة: أما الأفعال فإذا ترك سجدة صلبية من ركعة ثم تذكرها آخر الصلاة – قضاها وتمت صلاته عندنا،

فإذا ترك سجدة صلبية من ركعة قضاها في آخرها إذا تذكر ولا تلزمه إعادة ما بعدها وإذا كانا سجدتين قضاهما ويبدأ بالأولى ثم بالثانية لأن القضاء على حسب الأداء ولو كانت إحداهما سجدة تلاوة وتركها من الأولى والأخرى صلبية تركها من الثانية يراعي الترتيب أيضا فيبدأ بالتلاوية عند عامة العلماء ولو كان المتروك ركوعا فلا يتصور فيه القضاء وكذا إذا ترك سجدتين من ركعة لأنه لا يعتد بالسجود قبل الركوع لعدم مصادفته محله
