Earnings of home business

Question

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

If someone is doing a small business (from home, not a shop), according to Zambian law you need to pay turnover tax,
In Islam do we need to pay the turnover tax of the country we live in, and if we do not pay are the earnings from the home business haraam?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The earnings from a business which sells Halal products will always be Halal. Tax is a matter between a citizen and his/her country.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
