Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Gifts received from non-Muslims during their festivities are social customs that are in consideration of the recipient. The gifts themselves do not make the recipient revere the custom or festival itself.
Therefore, provided there is no Deeni harm caused by the gifts, nor is there any Haram ingredient in the gifts, it is permissible to accept gifts from non-Muslims during their festivities such as Diwali, Christmas, etc.[1]
