Question
Can you also please explain from about christmas gifts from the employee side. My employer gives out a monetary bonus as well as gifts. How to proceed? Should I ask the employer for their intentions?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to take the bonus given by the employer.[1] It is not necessary to ascertain his intentions.
