Islamic conversion process

Question

Salamalikum I wanted to convert into muslims please show me how to do it. Should I needed to doing rituals or mantr duwa? Originally I am hindu but Quran inspiration me very much.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Reverting to Islam is simply an affirmation and testification that there is no God except Allah and Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is His final messenger. This is known as the Shahaada (testimony). Thereafter, one should slowly learn as much as possible about the religion (from reliable sources) and one’s duties as a Muslim.

It is preferable to take a ritual bath (wherein one washes the entire body thoroughly) when entering the fold of Islam.
