Stationery left by students

Question

Aslm ww..
Please advice on the following:
At madressa, the day students leave stationery here and there. If all of it is picked up and gathered in a box, and no one comes to claim it, will it be permissible for the Iqamah students to use from that stationary when in need?
This is in the case where the madressa has day students and Iqamah students.
Is there any particular procedure that needs to be followed if the stationary is regarded to be لقطة?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Our advice is that you simply make I’laan to all students that lost stationery can be collected from this specific place and if unclaimed for a few days, will be utilised by others. If anyone has an objection, they should speak now. If there are no objections, it will be considered as though the owners have consented for their stationery to be used by others.
