Slmz. Is getting gratuity halal?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Gratuity is a lump sum amount that is paid by the employer to the employee as a token of appreciation for the services they have provided towards the company over a given period of time.[1]

Gratuity is part of the remuneration package that an employer and employee have consented to in an Ijaarah contract. Accordingly, it is permissible.
