Question
On 15th august every year, there is independence day in my country. This year, I was invited by my teacher for this day.
There, i was asked to speak some quotes about nation.
I did not know any of it , so i searched my mobile for some.
Through the mobile, I said 4 quotes but i made 1 horrible mistake.
One of the quotes I said was :”Many lovers meet throughout the ages,
But there is no shroud more beautiful than the nation.
Many have died wrapped in notes and wrapped in gold,
But no shroud is more beautiful than the tricolor(my country’s flag).”
I realised that the most beautiful sacrifice is sacrifice for sake of Allah and the most beautiful shorud should also be the should of a shaheed.
Tell me please what to do, i feel really guilty of having said this wrong thing.

The guilt you feel is a sign of your true faith.
Your statements whilst exaggerated do not affect your Iman. Make tawbah and istighfaar to help you acquiesce your conscience.
