Using allowance given by parents

Question

Assalamualaikum ww

When I was young my parents would give me k200-300 to eat outside but I would not use that money to eat outside and I would buy other things with that money (the items I bought were totally halal).  My question is was the money that I spent haraam because my parents gave me money for something but I used it on something else.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There is no problem with what transpired.
