Giving away kittens

Question

If a stray cat that is a resident cat in our yard gives birth to kittens can we give the kittens away. (They are still drinking milk from mother and small) but fear of them becoming resident cats and procreating

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If the kittens need the milk from the mother for survival, then they should not be given away yet. Once they become independent of the mother, they may be given away.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
