Tajweed of Mirsaad

Question

Aslm
Can i ask a question concerning Tajweed of Qur’an?
In the word “مرصاد”
(the word Mirsaad found in Surah Naba’) ,
Is the ر read as a heavy letter or a light one ?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The Huroof Musta’liyah are 7. They are read with a full mouth in all cases. They are خص ضغط قظ.

If a Raa Saakin is followed by a letter from the Musta’liyah, the Raa will be read with a full mouth. There are 4 examples in the Holy Quran. مرصادا  ارصادا  قرطاس  فرقة
