Using chipped utensils

Question

Can we use glass ware plates , dishes or cups which are abit chipped

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to use such utensils. One should avoid placing the mouth on the actual places where it is chipped or broken.[1]

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
