Question
Assalaamu alaykum ww
Hope Mufti saab is well?
A student wants to know If a person takes orders for a certain biscuit n thn other ppl who don’t order from her but want the recipe n ask for it,
is it a gunaah if u don’t share?
For fear that it will affect ur orders if others start making it also

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not necessary to share the recipe, hence there is no sin. It is purely your prerogative.
