Intimacy with the spouse’s breasts

Question

Can a man suck on his wife’s breast ?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for a man to suck on the breasts of his wife provided there is no fear of swallowing breast milk nor is the wife harmed in the process.[1] If the wife is breastfeeding, the husband should exercise precaution as it is Haram and sinful to swallow the milk of the spouse.[2] If the husband mistakenly drinks the milk, he should spit it out.
