Pray all well
What is the mas’ala regarding if a boy who lives in zambia gets married to a girl in Mozambique amd goes fir nikaah in Mozambique then is he supposed to give the masnoon mahr that is in Mozambique or the one in zambia which one should he give

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Masnoon Mahr is defined as 1530.9 grams of silver. Global silver prices remain relevant across all countries. As such, the masnoon mahr amount should be the same in both Zambia and Mozambique when expressed in a global currency such as USD.
