Question
I am going for umra. I am 68years can I get wheel chair for tawaf and saee advice
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, it is necessary (Wajib) to walk and perform tawaf and sa’ee if one is capable of that.[1] If one experiences severe difficulty in walking and is incapable of doing so due to sickness or old age, then only shall it be permissible to make use of a wheelchair or automated cart and no penalty will be due.
If one used a wheelchair despite the capability of walking, then the tawaf or sa’ee should be repeated. If it is not repeated and one returns home, it will become valid but one damm will be necessary.

الرابع) أي من الواجبات المشي فيه للقادر) ففي «الفتح»: المشي واجب عندنا، وعلى هذا نص المشايخ، وهو كلام محمد، وما في فتاوى قاضيخان من قوله : والطواف ماشياً أفضل تساهل أو محمول على النافلة، بل ينبغي في النافلة أن يجب لأنه إذا شرع فيه وجب فوجب المشي، انتهى. لكن قد يقال بالفرق بين ما يجب بإيجاب الله تبارك وتعالى، وبين ما يجب بفعل العبد، ولذا جوز قضاء الوتر وقت الكراهة دون أداء ركعتي الطواف، مع أنه لم يلتزمه بوصف المشي مع الاتساع في التطوع، ولهذا جوز بلا عذر في صلاة النفل ترك القيام الذي هو ركن في الفرض عند القدرة .
(فلو طاف) أي طواف يجب المشي فيه راكباً أو محمولاً أو زحفاً) أي على استه أو على أربعته أو على جنبه أو ظهره كالسطيح بلا عذر، فعليه الإعادة) أي ما دام بمكة (أو الدم) أي لتركه الواجب ( وإن كان أي تركه بعذر، لا شيء عليه) كما في سائر الواجبات
