Ta’weedh for easy labour

Question
I’m currently pregnant, and a family member recently gave me a taaweez which she says is supposed to assist me when I am in labor
One part is to be put around the stomach and the other two parts on each thigh
They’re to be worn from the time I go to hospital till the baby is out, and she said to take it off as soon as baby is born.
Will it be permissible to use such a taaweez?
A response would be highly appreciated as I am close to giving birth soon

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Certain practices have been mentioned by the pious predecessors with the claim that the practice has assisted women during labour. Such practices are known as ‘Mujarrab’ (tested) practices and whilst not found explicitly in the sunnah, remain permissible for practice.
A few are as follows:
- Ml Ashraf Ali Thanvi Rahimahullah suggests that the following verse should be written and wrapped around the right thigh of the woman in labour and removed immediately upon childbirth. (Ashrafs Blessings of Marriage page 314)
إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ (1) وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ (2) وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ (3) وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ (4) (الانشقاق: 1 – 4)
- He also suggests that the following verses be wrapped around the left thigh to quicken delivery.
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ (4) وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ (5) (الانشقاق: 4، 5)
- He also suggests that the following verse be recited and blown over the stomach or back of the woman in labour. Alternatively, the same can be written and wrapped around the stomach and back. (Remedies from the Holy Quran page 25)
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ (30) (الأنبياء: 30)
- Some have opined that the book of hadith, Muwatta Imam Maalik, be opened for the woman to look into and a few ahadith be read provided the woman is adequately covered. Some have also opined that the book itself be placed under the woman’s pillow.
