Wudhu due to madhi

Question
Assalamualaikum w.w
I was talking to someone of an opposite gender…and I felt something coming out from my private part..now I don’t know whether its mani or madhi…whether I have to do ghusl or not…please clarify me on that.
Also I’m in a doubt of what I felt so I have a doubt whether to make ghusl or not

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Madhi is pre-seminal fluid whereas Mani is semen. The texture of each is different with Madhi being very thin and watery and Mani being somewhat thick and viscous.
Usually, mere arousal would result in the discharge of Madhi, not Mani. Similarly, discharge of Mani is usually accompanied with an orgasm or climax of some sort.[1]
Discharge of Madhi requires wudhu whereas discharge of Mani necessitates ghusl.[2] From the information provided, it appears the discharge was Madhi, hence, wudhu would be nullified.
Both Madhi and Mani are impure, hence, the affected clothing should be washed adequately.
For females, if there was no arousal at the time of the incident, the discharge in question could also be normal vaginal discharge instead of Madhi.
