Question
Assalamualaikum w.w
I was mixing dye..and a small stain is on my hand and it isn’t coming out..is my namaz done?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Dye can either be permeable or impermeable. If it is permeable, wudhu over it will be valid whether a stain is present or not. If it is impermeable, then it is necessary to try to remove it.[1] If one tried everything they could to remove the dye stain, including trying the known methods of dye removal from the skin, and it still did not come out, then due to necessity, it will be overlooked and the wudhu and salah will be valid.
