Selling Bush/Game meat

Question

I wanted to ask if I can be selling bush meat that I have a license for the animals. If I have a passion for hunting though and I make money on it. Is it allowed? Does my intention have to be that I am going to sell it.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

A quick search has revealed that Zambia only permits the sale of game meat with a specific licence.[1] This is different to the general hunting licence. You may find out the necessary details regarding it. If both licenses are present, it is permissible to sell. If the relevant licences are not present, then from an Islamic perspective, the sale of meat owned by an individual and its proceeds are Halal. However, a Muslim does not unnecessarily expose himself to potential humiliation.
