Question
In Islam can you take comission
Like I refered a client to a company
Then they offer me comission
There was no agreement that I get you clients you gve me commision
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
An agent/broker is entitled to a commission if there is a pre-existing agreement. If there is no such agreement or understanding, a commission cannot be demanded. If a commission is offered despite that, it is permissible to accept it.
