Question
Aslmww
Is it permissible to build/invest in a wedding venue? Considering that many things contrary to shariah take place in certain weddings. Also would there be any restrictions regarding who it can be hired out to.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible. The lessor is not responsible for what the lessee does in leased premises.[1]
