Question
Kindly wanted to find out if one can take Vitamins injection in fasting state?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, injections into the bloodstream do not nullify the fast.[1] Having said that, vitamins nourish the body and would go against the spirit of fasting. Therefore, it is discouraged to do so without genuine reason.
