Assalamu alaikum ww…May this message find you in good health. I wanted to find out the recommended course of action when someone comes late to the masjid, finds that Esha is done and Tarawih has started. Jazakallahu Khair

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The time for Taraweeh salah is after Isha salah upto Fajr salah. Therefore, if one is late, he should first perform the Isha salah, then join the Taraweeh congregation. He should then perform witr together with the congregation and then make up the missed Taraweeh salah after witr.[1]
