Abortion due to first child being very young

Question

Asalamualaikum
Hope u well
I wanted to ask
Since we can abort a baby b4 120 days in dire situations

What if we are afraid that our first born is still only one yr old and wont be able to pay enough attention and care to both babies?
Can we abort then?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Abortion is not permissible. Billions of families from the beginning of time till today have raised children that are only one year apart in age.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
