Paying loan before going for Hajj

Question

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakaatuh a person has loan to pay but he is being sponsor for Hajj and he has money to pay the loan but he he is thinking of investing that money and pay his loan letter will his Hajj be valid together with his Duas

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If such a person has the money to pay his/her debts, it is disliked to go for Hajj without paying one’s debts.[1] If the creditor explicitly permits the person to instead invest and then repay afterwards, then it will be valid and free from any dislike.
