Question
Salaam brother,
In ruku or sujood, if my clothes shift such that my boxers can be seen, but no skin is exposed (the boxers are still covering the skin underneath), is my awrah still considered covered and salah valid? I ask because I know tight clothing can expose awrah and boxers can be tight as they are elastic, but there not see through. I follow hanafi madhab.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, if the awrah is covered, even if by tight clothing, it will not be considered to be exposure of awrah which will break salah.
This does not mean there is no dislike in wearing such clothing. It is still disliked.[1] Hence, one should ensure that one’s shirt and trousers are long enough to never allow the boxers to be exposed when going into ruku and sajdah.

چست لباس پہن کر نماز پڑھنا؟
سوال(۴۴۹):- کیا فرماتے ہیں علماء دین ومفتیانِ شرع متین مسئلہ ذیل کے بارے میں کہ: چست لباس پہن کر نماز پڑھنا کیسا ہے؟ جیسا کہ آج کل نوجوان معاشرے میںٹی شرٹ اور جینس پہننے کا ایک عام رواج ہوچکا ہے؟ تو ایسے کپڑے پہن کر نماز پڑھنا درست ہے؟
الجواب وباللّٰہ التوفیق:ایسا چست لباس پہننا جس سے اعضاء مستورہ کی ہیئت ظاہر ہوجائے، اگرچہ مکروہ اور بے حیائی کی دلیل ہے؛ تاہم اگر کپڑا اتنا دبیز ہو کہ اندر کی کھال نظر نہ آئے تو اس میں نماز پڑھنا درست ہے
