Disposing pictures of masaajid on calenders

Question

As salaam alaikum
What must we do with the pictures of mosques on calender and also written in shaa Allah on it.
How do you dispose it

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Such words and pictures hold sanctity for us. Therefore, they should first be cut out from the normal paper, then disposed of by either burying it, putting it in water until the ink goes out, or if neither is possible, then as a last resort, burn them.[1]

Certain masaajid have Islamic literature disposal boxes. You may drop these papers there and whoever is responsible for those boxes will then dispose of the material appropriately Insha-Allah.
