Performing Umrah if Hajj has not been performed

Question
Are you allowed to do umrah if you stil havent done your haj.
Is ur umrah accepted?
Or its necessary to do farz haj first?
In a case where a person is not soo financialy stable for haj but can afford umrah
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible and valid to perform Umrah before fulfilling your Fardh Hajj. Your Umrah will be accepted as Hajj only becomes a fardh once you possess the specific financial capacity required to undertake it, which is separate from being able to afford Umrah.[1]
That said, when it comes to what truly matters is that if you already have, or are close to having the financial means that make Hajj Fardh for you, then it’s wiser to hold onto your resources and focus on performing your Fardh Hajj first. This way, you are giving priority to what Allah Ta’āla has made a duty upon you before turning to a voluntary act of Ibadah.
