Hope you guys are well

if let’s say we order something online via application

for example is that we order food from restaurant via Yango

and when order comes we pay Yango and not the restaurant

so item a price is k20

item b price is k22

Item c price is k15

now when it’s delivered we pay k57 according to the placed order, but when we open later on item a is repeated 3 times which total comes to k60.

Now what needs to be done here

as we were out of country recently and this is what happened, and currently back in country of residence.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Usually, with online food delivery services, the end customer pays the delivery company, and it is the delivery company who pays the restaurant.

Nevertheless, in the enquired situation, you are required to reach out to Yango and inform them of the error, as that amount is due upon you in lieu of food received and consumed. If Yango responds and lets it go, then that is fine. If they ask you to pay the balance owed, you shall have to pay it.
