Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
There is no concept of ‘rival companies’ in Islam. Each person’s rizq and sustenance has been written. Neither can a person obtain more than what was written, nor can he avoid what was written for him.
Customers are part of an open market. No customer belongs to any company. If information comes to an individual, he is at liberty to utilise it as he wishes. Yes, no trader should have the intention of depriving other traders. This is a sign of greed and a huge appetite for the world. A Muslim is not made for this.
