Question
Respected hope the Respected ulama are in good health.
1. Is the following correct?
The Fuqaha explicitly mention that; if water cannot reach certain areas of the mouth or body due to having inserted an object in situations of need or necessity and it is also difficult or inconvenient to remove that object or particle then the ghusl will be considered as valid.
Hence, the person’s ghusl will be valid in the queried scenario, subject to the aforementioned.

Mufti Muhammed Saeed Motara Saheb D.B
2. Can someone use a kursuf if the discharge is not continuous? But it is still there. Possibly in all salah times
3. If someone has their desires accepted even when they don’t make dua and just wish it in their heart. and barely has trials in this world…does that mean they are getting all their rewards in this world? If so how can they change it. Please make dua for me. That Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala forgives me and takes me on the straight path and keeps me there if possible.
4. Is there basis that if one can’t focus in salah to say the taa’uz and then spit 3 times on either side.
5. In which cases can one lie?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
- Mufti Saeed Motara Saheb Daamat Barakaatuhu is a senior Aalim and Mufti. It is not appropriate to send institutions verdicts by other Ulama and ask them to comment. Assuming you yourself asked the query, if you did not have trust in his capabilities, why did you ask him the query to begin with? And if you yourself did not ask that query, now that it has been answered, why do you need to get approval from elsewhere too and on what basis will you decide which of the two is correct if the two verdicts differ? Stick to one Mufti and make life easy for yourself. Avoid fitnah.
- A kursuf is inserted to stop the blood from exiting the private parts. This allows a woman in istihaadha to perform her salah without fear of bleeding during the salah. There is no limit to how long a kursuf can be used. However, one should seek medical advice to avoid potential harm due to misuse of the kursuf.
- If one’s desires are always being accepted whilst one is willingly accustomed to sin and does not live a life of obedience to Allah, then that is cause for concern. One would need to change one’s life and make tawbah. But if one is living a life of obedience or atleast actively trying to live one, making tawbah whenever one slips, then it is not a thing to fear. May Allah forgive us all and keep us all on the straight path. Aameen.
- If one has constant waswasa in salah, then the following hadith is to be acted upon. However, just for ‘focus’, one should instead first perfect other means such as making proper wudhu, allowing one’s mind to be free from the worldly thoughts by coming earlier to masaajid etc.
Translation: Uthman ibn Abil Aas Radhiyallahu Anhu came to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and said, O Messenger of Allah, shaytaan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Quran and he confounds me. He replied, “That is (the doing of a) shaytaan who is known as Khinzab, and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it (Say A’oozhubillah) and spit (dryly) three times to your left.” Uthman Radhiyallahu Anhu says, I did that and Allah dispelled that from me. (Muslim – 2203)
One should spit dryly i.e. make a spitting sound as opposed to actually spitting out saliva and messing the carpet or floor.
- It is not permissible to lie except in a situation where one’s life is literally in the balance or if the lie will bring about harmony between two opponents without causing further harm to anyone else.
Translation: Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “it is not lawful to lie except in three cases: Something a man tells his wife to please her, to lie during war, and to lie in order to bring peace between the people.” (Tirmidhi – 1939)
