Question
Is it permissible to eat chicken skin?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, it is permissible to consume the skin of animals whose meat is Halaal. Therefore, if a chicken is slaughtered according to the method stipulated in Shariah, it will be permissible to consume its skin.
