Question

Dear Mufti saheb,
 
assalamu aleikum.
 
I would like to buy an apartment in a property being developed by a muslim brother. The property will have 90 apartments, a common swimming pool and a common Gym.
The developer has assured that there will be strictly separate timings for ladies and gents.
All investors will be made shareholders in the company developing the property and will also pay the monthly maintenance charges of the swimming pool, the Gym and the common amenities. My concern is the ladies who will go swimming during the ladies time but not covering the aurah in full.
Can we invest in such a property, are we responsible since we are going to be shareholders?
my son  & daughter need to go swimming and to the Gym for their health –  please guide us on the investment and also requesting for dua for my son/ daughter.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Brother in Islam,

Your desire to adopt a halaal course of action is commendable. Adopting halaal invokes the mercy of Allah Ta’laa and barakah in your wealth.

It will be permissible to invest in the apartments and its facilities in reference. [1]
