Intercourse without knowing about menses

Question

Assalamualaikum,
What is the ruling in Islam if we have intercourse without realizing menses have started, since there was no bleeding at that time , but after calculating that day falls under hukmi haidh.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, one is required to make correct estimates with regards to ones haidh, and in the event there is doubt about haidh, precaution is necessary with regards to intercourse.

If one made sufficient calculations but due to circumstances only found out the retrospective ruling later, then Insha-Allah, there is no sin for this as one did the best they could. And Almighty Allah does not hold the slave accountable for that which is beyond his control.
