Seeking forgiveness from someone I wronged

Question

Assalamualaikum,
I hold a person hand hardly to move him from away with anger while I was going to prayer in a mosque. Because I was going to miss raqah and he blocked the door.
What is the rulling of Islam regarding the forgiveness? I couldn’t recognize his face and couldn’t find him after my prayer.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

You should try your best to find the same person at the masjid and directly ask for his forgiveness. If despite your best efforts you are unable to find him, then make sincere tawbah to Allah and also ask for forgiveness for the brother. Try and give some sadaqah on his behalf as well.
