Doubt in Tawaaf rounds

Question
Aww
If a person is making tawaf and has a doubt whether the he has finished 6 or seven rounds. What should he do?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If a person has a doubt regarding the number of rounds performed in the Tawaaf-e-Ziyaarah of Hajj or the Tawaaf of Umrah, then he/she should repeat the round in which there was a doubt.
If a doubt occurs in any other tawaf, then one should consider the overpowering thought. [1]

لو شك في عدد الأشواط في طواف الركن أعاده ولا يبني على غالب ظنه، بخلاف الصلاة، وقيل إذا كان يكثر ذلك يتحرى، ولو أخبره عدل بعدد يستحب أن يأخذ بقوله، ولو أخبره عدلان وجب العمل بقولهما لباب قال شارحه ومفهومه أنه لو شك في أشواط غير الركن لا يعيده بل يبني على غلبة ظنه لأن غير الفرض على التوسعة والظاهر أن الواجب في حكم الركن لأنه فرض عملي
