Question
Is it permissible to participate/escort a non-Muslim funeral?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is not permissible to attend or escort the funeral services of a non-Muslim. It is permissible to offer condolences to the family of the deceased.[1]
