Using funds sent by family for expenses at University

Question

السلام علیکم
I have a question which is related to the previous one I had asked. I had told you that I study at a university and my syllabus contains many impermissible things like poems relating to the Greek Mythology and also female professors are there with whom I do make eye contact, which is haraam. I stay out of my hometown for studies and my relatives who bear the expenses of my education do send money for different needs. So my question is that is it haraam to use that money for my needs like clothing etc. as they are sending me this money due to the fact that I am staying out of my hometown and I am studying here. I won’t ask too much questions but this one was really important. Please reply me whenever possible.

The funds you receive are a gift from your family who are merely expressing their concern for your wellbeing. It is permissible to use the funds for your needs.
